Copying and Pasting into Angel Course Announcements
Course Announcements created via a copy/paste action can contain extra characters, increasing the time it takes your course pages to load. Even a few sentences can create problems when copied and pasted directly from a Word document, Web Page or Email as they often include hidden characters.
Solution: When copy/pasting into a course announcement, don’t use Control-V. Instead, go to the Save icon in the tool bar and choose Paste as plain text. This will eliminate the background information. Once you paste as plain text you can apply formatting using the Angel formatting bar.
