The difference between Groups and Courses
Groups work exactly like courses except that some things are named different. Lessons tab = Content tab. Some of the default components on the pages may be different too, but that is configurable in the admin area.
The only thing that makes something a Course or Group (or even LOR), is one field in the Courses DB table. A group can be changed into a course with a simple SQL query.
